Youth held with fake JSC question papers

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) unit-8 has detained a youth for alleged involvement in offering fake question papers of Junior School Certificate (JSC) examination on social contact network. Acting on a tip-off, a team of the elite force operated a drive on Monday early morning at Tutkhali village under Nazirpur Upazila of Pirojpur district and detained Joyanto Mandal,18, son of Jotindra Mandal of the village, said Major Khan Sajibul Islam, deputy commander of RAB-8. Joyonto arrested for offering fake question paper in lieu of money on social media and collected huge amount from responders, the RAB-8 official said the Journalists. The arrested accused would be handed over to police after interrogation, RAB sources said.
10 poor women get sewing machines in Rajshahi
RAJSHAHI: Ten under privileged and extreme-poor women were given sewing machines to make them self-reliant. Rural and Urban Development Organization (RUDO), a non-government organisation, handed over the sewing machines to them at a function in its office training room in the city yesterday afternoon. RUDO general secretary Sohag Ali and its executive member Sojon Ali and president of Litchu Bagan Mohila Samity were present at the function, reports BSS.
