4- member gang held while preparing fake documents

Barishal police operating drives on Tuesday night and early Wednesday arrested four members of a gang with different types of materials usable while they are preparing fake documents. The arrestees were Abdul Mannan Talukdar , son of late Ekram Ali Talukdar from Iluhar of Banaripara, was arrested from his home. Then according to his confessional statement three of his associates Babul Chowkidar, son of Abul Hossain Chowkidar of Alimabad of Mehendiganj, Shahjahan Haoladar, son of late Abdur Rahim Haoladar of Keshobkathi of Wazirpur and Nazar Ali Mridha, son of Rahim Uddin Mridha of Chatrisira of Agoiljhara upaziala were arrested from Chawk Bazaar and Bogura Road areas of Barishal city. District superintendent of police Saiful Islam holding a press briefing at the in-service training center of Barishal Police Line in presence of the arrestees with seized forgery materials disclosed the facts on Wednesday noon.

Man found hanging in Jashore
JASHORE: Police recovered the hanging body of a man from Pashapol village in Chowghaachha upazila on Wednesday morning. The deceased was identified as Madhu, 52, son of late Bashir Ullah and a resident of the village. Shafiqul Islam, in-charge of Dashpakia police camp, said locals found the body of Madhu hanging from a jackfruit tree beside his house around 11am and informed police, Later, police recovered the body and sent it to Jashore General Hospital, reports UNB.
