Certificate distribution ceremony held at Dupchanchia

After completing of a month long training session, certificate distribution ceremony was held at the school premises on Thursday under Dupchanchia upazila of Bogra. Before distribution ,certificate a discussion meeting held at school premises presided over Executive Director of the Nabojagoran Autistic School Sabina Yasmin while Abdul Alim Khan, Chief Advisor of the organization, speaking here as Chief Guest marking the importance of the school. He urges to expand the helping hands to the autistic children. We don’t think them, as burden of our country. If all of the conscious people come forward to the physical challenge children they will turn as prosperous nation gradually. Chairman of ST Foundation Abu Bakkar Siddique, Assistant Professor of Adamdighi Rahim Uddin Degree Collage Abdul Hamid, Mosatfijur Rahman, Shamsujjaman Azad, C-coordinator Mahbub Hossain, Sharmin Sulata, head master of the School Abul Kalam, journalist of The New Nation Emdadul Haque and Musabbar Hasan Musa spoke among others in the function.
4 BCL men injured in rival group clash in Satkhira

At least four people were injured in clash between two groups of Assasuni Government College Chhatra League in Satkhira on Wednesday noon. The clash occurred between the two groups of BCL president and General Secretary. The injured were admitted to Ashashuni Health Complex.The injured were identified as Chhatra League leader Raj, Taj, Shakil and Shaharul Islam Asashuni Government College branch’s president, Humayun Kabir Rasel said that a new-party ceremony was going on in Ashashuni College on Wednesday. At that time some youths and Juba League activists came to the college and threw banners and posters.
Genocide Day observed in Bagerhat

The Genocide Day for the 2nd time after the country’s independence was observed in Bagerhat district town with due respect recently. Earlier, Bagerhat district administration, ruling political party Awami League and its front organizations, Muktijoddha Sangsad and a number of socio-political and cultural organizations chalked out separate programmes for marking the Day. On the occasion floral wreaths were placed at the local Dak-bungalow ghat on the bank of the river Daratana (where the people were executed by Pakistani army and their local collaborators during the Liberation War). Later a discussion meeting was held the local Swdhinata Udyan on the topic Genocide Day. It was addressed by Alhaj Dr. Mozammel Hossain, MP of Bagerhat Constituency-4 and President of Bagerhat District Awami League, Alhaj Adv. Mir Shawkat Ali Badsha, MP of Bagerhat Constituency-2, Tapan Kumar Biswas, DC, Bagerhat, Pankaj Chandra Roy, Police Super, Bagerhat and the leaders of other political and socio-cultural organizations. The speakers while was speaking in the discussion stressed the need for creating conscious among people at home and abroad to earn international recognition of the Genocide Day wasobserved in the country.
