Human chain formed against question paper leakage

Under the auspices of SANAC (Sachetan Nagarik Committee), Bagerhat with the inspiration of TIB (Transparency International Bangladesh) a human chain was formed in front of Bagerhat Press Club on Sunday morning demanding ‘Good Governance in Education Sector and Merit Basis Bangladesh: Want Stern Measures Against Leakage Out of Questions of Examinations’ with SANAK president Prof Chowdhury Abdur Rob in the chair. The human chain was addressed among others by Prof. Mozaffar Hossain, Adv. Ram Krisna Basu, Shaikh Mujibor Rahman, Ratan Kumar Das, woman leader Rijia Prveen, Shaikh Abu Sayeed, Rezaul Molla, Tanjin Islam. All the speakers strongly criticized the Government for not taking any stern measures against those responsible for leaking out the questions of all kinds of examinations. They said, it is a conspiracy to make the country to a merit less country. The speakers urged the Government to take strong measures to stop the leakage out of questions of all the examinations for the greater interest of the country.

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) -13 members of the Nilphamari camp have arrested a member of Siam Shahriar (19) of fake question papers leaked Group through Face book on the Nilphamari expedition on Monday. Siam is the son of Bablu Rahman Nejjpara village of Nilphamari sadar upazila. Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-13) Nilphamari camp commander additional superintendent of police Motahar Hossain told the media on Monday. He also said in the press release that on the Face book status, the question pose leakage by showing the temptation is fasting. On the basis of such allegations, he was arrested on Sunday night in an operation at the city’s own house. Later, he was handed over to Nilphamari Sadar Police Station, filed a case with the Information and Communication Technology Act.
HSC-equivalent examination begins
Some19,979 students were participated in the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations in Nilphamari on Monday . A total of 1,642 students participated in six centers in Alim, 4, 16 people in nine centers of HSC business management and 69 examinees will participate in one center in HSC Vocational. According to sources in the District Education Office, 40 centers in HSC, 1,777 in Domar upazila, 2 thousand 80 in Dimla upazila, 2,562 in Jaldhaka upazila, 1,458 in Kishoreganj upazila, 3,413 in Saidpur upazila and 3,340 in Sadar upazila. .The HSC and equivalent examinations started with the help of strict security measures to tackle the questionnaire in the country, including Nilphamari.
World Autism Day observed in Narsingdi
NARSINGDI: The 11th World Autism Awareness Day was observed here on Monday with a call to bring persons with disabilities in the mainstream of society. Social Services Department and the district administration jointly observed the day through a holding rally and discussion meeting. Holding placards and festoons in hand, children, officials and NGO activities joined the rally aimed at creating awareness among people about the persons with disabilities particularly the autistic one. The rally paraded different streets of the town.The rally ended in a discussion meeting in the conference room of local Circuit House.Deputy Director, Social Services Department, Narsingdi Mohammad Shahidul Islam chaired the discussion and presented the welcome speech.Deputy Commissioner Narsingdi Seyda Ferhana Kawnine addressed the meeting as chief guest while Police Super Narsingdi Shafullah-Al Mamon and Additional Deputy Commissioner (general) Abdul Awal were the special guests.Among others, District Children Affairs Officer Khalilur Rahman Sajib, Residential Medical Officer (RMO) Sayed Amirul Islam Samim, executive director of PAPRI Abdul Based and a number of NGO representatives addressed the meeting, reports BSS.
