One smuggler held with 5 gold bars in Satkhira

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) members detained a smuggler named Hasnur Rahman, 23, with a bar of gold at Satkhira border on trafficking in India on n Sunday morning, . He was arrested along with the gold bar from Padmashakhara border of Sadar upazila. Sub-Inspector Shafiqur Rahman of Bhomra BOP said, on Sunday, on the basis of secret information, he came to know that a group on Padmashakhara border is located on the border for smuggling gold in India. Later, the patrol team led by BGB detained the gold smoker after the operation in the border. During this time his body was searched and 5 pieces gold bars were recovered. Satkhira 38 BGB Captain Government Mostafizur Rahman confirmed the matter. The weight of the recovered gold was 767 grams .
Museum opens at Uttora Ganobhaban

Cabinet Secretary Shafiul Alam inaugurated the museum (Sangrohosala) at Uttora Gonobhaban, the Prime Minister’s house in northern on Friday morning. Natore district administration established the museum at the treasury building of the Dighapatia Raj (Uttora Ganobhaban). The furniture of the royal place, cloths of the kings and queens, thorn, knifes, ornaments, letters of princes Indooo Prova, Dairies of princes Indooo Prova and many others valuables has been displayed at the museum. The visitor will now be able to visit the full area of the Ganobhaban by ticket of Tk. 20 per head and 10 for students and children’s. The visitors will have to pay Tk. 30 per head if they want to visit the museum. But the students and the children will pay Tk. 15 to visit the museum.
