Anti-drug campaign launched at Kishoreganj

The Information Ministry launched an anti-drug campaign from Thursday through disseminating information in Radio-Television with a view to creating social awareness against use of abusive drugs.Kishoreganj District Information Office arranged a discussion on “Love your life, Stay away from Drug” held at local collectorate conference room on Thursday noon. ADC (Education & ICT) & Deputy Secretary Golam Md. Bhuiyan attended as Chief Guest while Senior District Information Officer Md. Shamsul Hoque in the chair. It was addressed among others by Assistant Director of Narcotics and Liquors Habib Tohid Imam, former Press Club President AK Nasim Khan, CAB President Alam Sarowar Tito, District Press Club President Mostafa Kamal, its Secretary Ashraful Islam and Megistrate Aklima Akhter. ADC Golam Md. Bhuiyan said that, Information Ministry would work hard in hand with law enforcement agencies and create awarness to prevent druge abuse across the country.
Medicines distributed among 1500 distressed people

Free medical services and medicines were provided among 1500 helpless and destitute people in Boragari-Gomnati union of Domar upazila Aizajar hat premises by Barrister Imran Kabir Chowdhury on Tuesday. In the eleventh National Parliamentary election, Barrister Imran Kabir Chowdhury Johnny is expecting nomination Nilphamari-1 constituency .
