Skins of deer, shrimp fries recovered in Bagerhat

Members of the Coast Guard of the Western Zone recovered 2 skins and 1 head of spotted deer of Sundarban forest, 5 hundred kgs crab fries and 50 thousand pieces of shrimp fries from Kalabogi canal under Dakop Upazila on Friday midnight. Coast Guard, acting on secret information a contingent of the coastguards raided Kalabogi canal under Dakop PS and seized a small boat left by the miscreants. Then the coastguards searched the boat and recovered 2 skins and one head of deer from it. At the same night the members of the coastguards raided the river Satbaria at Jorsing area under Koira PS. But guessing the appearance of the coastguards there miscreant fled away leaving 5 kgs crab and 50 thousand shrimp fries there. Coast Guards handed over the recovered skins and head of deer to Hodda forest office and released the recovered shrimp and crab fries in the rivers and canals of the forest in presence of the forest officials.
Jhenaidah SP meets public representatives

Superintendent of Jhenidah police Mijanur Rahman met the elected people’s representatives to maintain law and order following the verdict of the case filed against ex prime minister Begum Khaleda Zia. He met the representatives at his conference room on Sunday noon.Additional superintendent of Jhenidah police Azbahar Ali Seikh, senior assistant superintendent Shailkupa circle Tareq Al Mehedi, Jhenidah Sadar police station officer in charge Amdadul Haque Sheikh, detective branch officer in charge Jahangir Alam among others spoke on the discussion.All the chairmen of 67 union parisjhads of Jhenidah remain present during the sharing. The polioce super said, a section of unscrupulous people might try to create havoc following the court verdict scheduled on February 8. Any type of evil doings might be faced with courage to maintain law and order for the interest of the nation. The union parishad chairmen assured of all out cooperation in this regard.
Oath taking on anti-corruption held at Gafargaon

 A view exchange meeting on anti-corruption was held atKharua Borail Dhakhil Madrasa of Gafargaon Thana at Gafargaon Upazila under Mymensingh taking oath against Anti-corruption among students, teachers, with upazila Anti-corruption committee recently.To create mass awareness among students and teachers about Anti-corruption a view exchange meeting was held at Gafargaon Thana elite persons, managing committee ,Public representive Gafargaon .Let;s try tro be united against corruption before this slogan a view exchange meeting and oath of Satota Songo was held.Maolana Mustafijur Rahman ,superintendent presided over the meeting. Dr,K.M.Ehsan Advocate,president of upazila Anti-corruption committee was the chief guest in the oath and view exchange meeting. Md.Rafiqul Bashar ,general secretary of upazila Anti-corruption committee, presented the meeting. Dr K.M.Ehsan Advocate, President of Upazial Anti-corruption Committee, and Ajim Uddin Master,member of upazila Anti-corruption committee agriculture teacher Md.Khairul basher, senior teacher Abu bakor Siddique delivered their speeches to create awareness about Anti-corruption in the meeting.
Annual sports held in Baraigram

A day -long annual sports and prize giving ceremony were held on last Friday at Bonpara Labratory School in Baraigram under Natore district. About 150 students took part in 53 events of the sports competition. Assistant teacher Md Monirul Islam and Murshida Begum conducted these sports. At the second phase of the day, a prize giving ceremony was held. On the Occasion, a discussion meeting was held. It was presided over by the Chairman of school managing committee Md Ziaur Rahman. Chairperson of Upazila Sangbadik Unin Md Saifur Rahman was present as a chief guest. Bonpara Pouro Councilor Md Ataur Rahman and Lecturer of Bonpara Degree College Md Nazmul Haque were present as special guests.
