National Children Cultural Competition held

Islamic Foundation Bangladesh, Kishoreganj Unit arranged National Children Cultural function and distributed certificate and prize at local collectorate conference hall on Wednesday noon. Deputy Commissioner Md. Azimuddin Biswas attended as Chief Guest while ADC (General & D.S) Torafder Md. Akhter Jamil presided over. It was addressed among others by Additional Police Super Shafiqul Islam, CAB President Alam Sarowar Tito, Acting D.D of Islamic Foundation Md. Farook Ahamed, Shakila Mahamud, Student Rafi Bin Olliullah, Student Nova Bin Yena of S.V. Govt. Girls’ School and N.D.C Shamima Yesmin. At least 80 students of school, college and madrasas participated the cultural function.
Blankets distributed among cold-hit people in Thakurgaon

Pirganj Upazila Hazi Kallayan Sanggathan in Thakurgaon district distributed warm clothes among the cold hit people recently. Farmer MP Imdadul Hoque, Upazila Hazi Kallayan Sanggathan President Abdul Gafur, Secretary Hasan Ali, Vice-President Aminul Islam, Joint Rafiqul Islam and Obaydur Rahman were present on the occasion.
4 ambulances hand over to health complexes in Pabna

Four new ambulances were handed over to three health complexes in Pabna district. On this occasion, the program was arranged on the compound of Bhangura Upazila Health Complex on Tuesday. Chief Guest of the function and Chairman of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Agriculture Ministry Alhaj Mokbul Hossain MP handed over the ambulances to that health administrators. These are Bhangura, Chatmohar and Faridpur upazilas. Two ambulances were provided for Chatmohar Upazila due to the big area and number of population. These Ambulances provided by the Ministry of Health were received by the Upazila Health and Family Planning Officers on behalf of three upazilas Dr Tahajjel Hossain,civil surgeon of Pabna district presided over the function. At that time, among others Mahfuza Sultana, Bhangura Upazila Nirbahi Officer (Acting), Aslam Ali,Pabna District Council Member, Abdur Rahman,Secretary Bhangura Upazila Awami League, Principal Saidul Islam,Organizing Secretary, Imran Hasan Arif President Chhatra League, Nazimuddin Mia, President Chatmohar Pouro Awami League and three Upazila Health & Family Planning Officers spoke on the occasion in the meeting.
