US President Donald Trump will appear via video link during this year’s March for Life, a mass rally of anti-abortion activists taking place Friday in Washington, the White House said.
Trump “will become the first sitting president to address the March for Life from the White House live via satellite,” Press Secretary Sarah Sanders told Wednesday’s news briefing.
India reconsidering shelved missile deal: Netanyahu

Israel’s prime minister said that a $500 million Spike anti-tank missile deal that India shelved with Israel is back on the table.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu tweeted late Wednesday that following his talks with India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Indian government informed the Israeli side that it’s putting the deal with Rafael Advanced Defense Systems Ltd. back on the track.
Snowstorms leave 4 dead in US South

A winter storm that caused at least four deaths in the U.S. South on Wednesday brought record low temperatures to parts of the region, where it coated roads with ice, snapped power lines and prompted schools to close.
Frigid temperatures and snow were also forecast for the Mid-Atlantic region and much of New England on Wednesday. The National Weather Service issued winter weather advisories and storm warnings for northern Georgia into Virginia and from Massachusetts to Maine, areas that are home to more than 30 million people.
UK, Italy to bolster troop presence in Africa’s Sahel

Britain is set to send helicopters to bolster a key French counter-terrorism operation in Mali in a package of measures to be agreed at a summit near London on Thursday.
The commitment will come as Prime Minister Theresa May meets French President Emmanuel Macron at an army base near the British capital, with immigration and global aid also on their agenda.
