Adam census advocacy meet held in Kishoreganj

Statics Department of Bangladesh arranged a district advocacy meeting on Adam Census at Kishoreganj Collectorate Conference Room on Sunday. Deputy Commissioner Md. Azimuddin Biswas presided over the meeting.It was addressed among others by ADC (Gen) Torafder Md. Akhter Jamil, Additional Police Super Masud Anowar, Deputy Director of Statics Department Nomita Debnath, Acting Deputy Director Md. Masum Miah, Deputy Civil Surgeon Dr. Mujibur Rahman, DLO Dr Md. Abdul Mannan, DPEO Md Sajjad Hossion, Deputy Director of Social Service Rabiul Islam, Deputy Director of Islamic Foundation Faruq Ahamed, N.D.C & Magistrate Shamima Yesmin, District Press Club President Mostafa Kamal, CAB President Alam Sarowar Tito and senior journalist Saiful Hoque Mollah Dulu. At least 25 district level officials, journalists and consumer rights activists were also present.
LankaBangla distributes bicycls at Dinajpur

LankaBangla Foundation of LankaBangla Finance Limited distributed bicycles among 100 female students from different high schools of Dinajpur district, says a press release. Bicycle has become very popular among female high school students of different northern districts. LankaBangla undertakes bicycle distribution program every year as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities. This year the distribution took place at Dinajpur with focus to empower females of backward northern region of the country. Executive Vice President & Chief Risk Officer of LankaBangla Finance Limited, Mohammed Kamrul Hasan, FCA and Chairman of 10 Nos. Ranipukur Union, Birol Upazila, Dinajpur – Faruk Azam in presence of Md. Jahangir Hossain, Head of ADC of LankaBangla; Nafees, Head of Branch, LankaBangla Dinajpur; Md. Fazlay Rabbi & other local dignitaries distributed bicycles among needy talent female high school students of different schools of Birol Upazila, Dinajpur in a small ceremony. Faruk Azam, Chairman of 10 No. Ranipukur Union has expressed his gratitude to LankaBangla for coming to this remote area and giving bicycles to female students.
Mymensingh Divn Municipal Service Assoc formed

Municipal Service Association , Mymensingh Divisional Committee was formed at Municipal Library Auditorium on Saturday . About 200 leaders and workers from 26 municipalities of 4 districts of Mymensingh took part in the programme. It was chaired by Mohammad Kamrul Haque, President , Mymensingh Divisional Committee of the association . General Secretary of the organization’s central committee M Shahidul Islam, senior vice-president Abdus Sattar, Joint General Secretary Mohammad Shahjahan Kabir, and Organizing Secretary Md. Babul Hossain were present as special guests. Office Secretary Md Ataur Rahman, Associate Organizing Secretary Md.
