In the discussion was arranged at Baraihat Chattar with President of Barai Akata Juba Unnayan Samiti, Shahdat Hosain in the chair and general secretary Kamruzzaman’s execution. Upazila Awamilig President Haydar Ali Shah as the chief guest attended the discussion. UP chairman Muzaffar Hossain Sarkar, Social worker Abu Hena Md. Mostafa Kamal, former student leader Mizanur Rahman Bhuttu, organization’s treasurer Fizur Rahman, Manik Chowdhury, Jobair Hossain and Asisur Rahman addressed the event as guests.
Capital punishment to killers of SSC examinee demanded

Speakers at a human chain held in front of Ashwini Kumar Hall of the city demanded capital punishment of the killers of SSC examinee Abu Saleh. They demanded justice, immediate arrest and speedy trial of killer Hridoy and his associates. Locals of Ward no. 24 of Barisal City Corporation and family members organised the programme. Selim Mridha presided over the programme and Harun-Or-Rashid, Dr. Manisha Chakrabarty, Advocate. AK Azad addressed the rally among others. Senior assistant commissioner of Barisal Kotwali police station Md Farhad Sardar said investigation of case and drives to arrest the killer and associates going on. Mentionable Abu Saleh was killed in Rupatali area of Barisal city on December 10, in dispute over showing respect to senior by junior. Hridoy, HSC student of Government Hatem Ali College of the city and son of Ataur Rahman Sujon a resident of the same area, with his associates attacked Abu Saleh with iron sticks near Zahitunnesa Mahila Madrassah of the area around 10:30pm December 10. Critically injured Saleh was rushed to Barisal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital, where physicians declared him dead around 11:30pm.
Rifles Club committee meet held in Rajshahi

A meeting of Rajshahi Rifles Club Executive Committee was held at Rajshahi Metropolitan Police Conference Room on Sunday noon. The meeting was presided over by RMP Police Commissioner Md Mahbubur Rahman. Among others, Rajshahi Rifle Club’s General Secretary Ishtiaque Ahmed, Vice President Hassan Ali, Vice President Liaquat Ali, Joint Secretary Md. Emperor, Joint Secretary Salahuddin Raju, Executive Member Ziauddin, BM Hasan, Imtiaz Ahmed, Motakharul Kremlin Ali Akbar Khokan, Jamal Uddin Ahmed and others on the meeting.
The meeting discussed the progress of the activities of the Rajshahi Rifles Club and the development of the club building. As a sport, discussions are being made about how to popularize shooting among the general public and the young generation can be attracted to the shooting competition.
