An operation team of CPB-2, Nilphamari, RAB camp conducted an operation at 7 am on Tuesday in Dhuli Shant Nagar Bazar under Sadar thana of Nilphamari and arrested two drug dealers, 11 people with heroin .

The book distribution programme was presided over by Fulbari Shaheed Smriti Adarsha Degree College Assistant Professor, Altaf Hossain Swapan in the chair. Fulbari Shaheed Smriti Adarsha Degree College Principal Md. Zillur Rahman was present as Chief Guest and it was attended by Vice Principle Shah Md. Abdul Kuddus addressed the event as special guests. A training program on Right to Information Act-2009 was held in Rampal at 10 a.m. on Tuesday. Presided over by the UNO of Rampal Tushar Kumar Paul, Ex-Join Secretary of Information Ministry Md. Abul Hossain was present there as chief guest. Upazilla Mohila Vice Chairman Hosneara Mily was present there as special guest. Principal of Rampal College (Acting) Sk. Saidur Rahman, Principal of Sundarban College Khalid Ahamed, Principal of Abul Kalam Degree College Forhad Hossain, Senior Upazilla Fishery Officer Ripon Kumar, OC(Investigation) Tuhin Howlader, Youth Development Officer Md. RAJSHAHI: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) in a drive arrested two alleged terrorists along with arms from Namajgram area of Puthia upazila on Tuesday night. The arrestees were identified as Mahmudul Hasan Rantu, 31, and Amzad Hossain Sumon, 32. Being tipped-off, a team of Rab-5 led by major A M Ashraful Islam, conducted a drive in the area around 11:10 am and arrested the duo along with a foreign pistol, two magazines, two rounds of bullets and two mobile sets, said a Rab press release.
