Journey of honesty shop was started in Ramapl under Bagerhat Upazila with the patronisation of Rampal Upazila Primary Education Office. To inaugurate the honesty shop, a program was arranged on Wednesday at Kashipur Dakhin Para Govt Primary School. Being presided over by the president of the Managing Committee of the School Robindar Nath Paul, Upazilla Chairman addressed the function as chief guest and inaugurated the Honesty Shop. UNO of Rampal Tushar Kumar Paul and Mohila Vice Chairman Hosneara Mily were present there as special guest. Upazilla Live Stock Officer Md. Jahidur Rahman, Press Club Secretary Saiful Alam Boktier, ATEO Osman Goni, ATEO Nazrul Islam Mollah, teacher Mst. Fahamida Khatun Angur and guardian Mst. Hosneara delivered an important speech in the function. Headmaster of the school Md. Mizanur Rahman and other assistant teacher, teachers of neighboring school and honorable person of the area were present there. Chief guest in his speech has told that the practice of honesty should exercise from the childhood. If they can be habituated from childhood, they will undoubtedly be honest in future. All applauded the program and urged the authority to exercise this practice in all the schools in the Upazilla. The function came to an end at 3 p.m. The function was directed by ATEO Noliny Kumar Joarder.
Nath Mondir inaugurates
Nath Mondir of Rampal Sadar was inaugurated in Rampal on Wednesday. Being present there as Chief guest , Upazila Vice Chairman Sk. Moajjem Hossain inaugurated the Mondir. At this time President of the temple Shekhor Chandra Bala, Secretary Babul Mistry, members of the Temple Committee and dignified man in the area were present there. Mondir Committee has told the newsmen that for this extension work, they may cost 5-6 lakh taka.
4 skins of deer recovered from Shibsa area

The members of the coastguards of the Western Zone deployed Mongla raided Shibsa area of Sundarban forest on Monday and recovered 4 pieces of skins of spotted dear of the forest. It is learnt from Lt. Abdullah Al-Mahmud, Operation Officer of the coastguards that on the day acting on secret information members of the coastguards while were discharging their patrol duties raided the forest near Shibsa forest office. But sensing the appearance of the coastguards the smugglers fled away leaving the skins of deer there. The smugglers after collecting the skins illegally from the different places of the forest they were taking away those (skins) for sale. The recovered skins were handed over to Shibsa forest office for taking necessary action.
Public Engineering day observed in Kishoreganj

The Public Engineering Day was observed at Kishoreganj on Wednesday. It is learnt that, under the auspices office of the Institute of Diploma Engineers of Kishoreganj unit organised a function at Somobay Bhobon in the town. Pijush Kanti Sarker, President, Institute of Diploma Engineers, Kishoreganj presided over the function. Md Pervaz Miah, Mayor, Kishoreganj Municipality was a chief guest. It was addressed among others by Kishoreganj Press Club General Secretary Saiful Malek Chowdhury, Institute of Diploma Engineers of Kishoreganj unit Vice-president Md. Asadul Islam, General Secretory Md. Muzzamal Hoque, Tresarer Md. Shajahan, Asstt. General Secreary Faruq Ahmed, Joint Secretary Md. Anisur Rahman spoke on the occasion. Later, A colourful rally was brought out in the towd led by Poura Mayor Md. Parvez Miah.
47th founding anniversary of IDEB observed in Chapainawabganj

47th founding anniversary of the Institute of Diploma Engineers Bangladesh (IDEB) Mass Engineering Day were observed in a befitting manner in Chapainawabganj on Wednesday. Chapainawabganj District Unit of the organization arranged a colourful procession and a rally to mark the day.Chairman of Chapainawabganj district council Moinuddin Mondal inaugurated the procession as chief guest. Mayor of Chapainawabganj municipality Md. Nazrul Islam was with him. Starting from the Chapainawabganj municipality premises the procession paraded the main roads of the town and ended at the office of the Public Works Department (PWD) where a rally was held. Presided over by the president of the Chapainawabganj district unit of IDEB Mahbubur Rahman, the rally was addressed by the executive engineer of PDB Md. Matiur Rahman, executive engineer of Chapainawabganj municipality Md. Sadequl Islam and others. Assistant Engineer of Chapainawabganj municipality Md. Rokonuzzaman, Sub- assistant engineer of PWD Salah Uddin Parvej, Satyajit Roy were present among others.
