Fake physician sent to jail in Babuganj

A fake physician sent to jail on Monday afternoon for trying to give fake Hepatitis-b vaccine to primary school students in Babuganj upazila of Barisal. The accused was identified as Ashraful Islam, 35, son of Jalaluddin, from Charfession of Bhola district and former laboratory assistant of Al-Nur Diagnostic Center of Dhaka. Police and local people of Manikkathi area under Babuganj upazila of Barisal said Ashraful coming to Manikkathi government primary school on Saturday identified himself as hepatitis-specialist. He exchanging views with the teachers, students and local people at the school wished to hold a medical camp there on Sunday to save the local people and students from that deadly disease.
Attackled aborigine leader Tirki returns home

Aborigine Affairs Parliamentary took aborigine leader Bichitra Tirki to her house at Zinarpur under Parbatipur UP of Gomostapur upazila in Chapainawabganj district on Sunday afternoon. A meeting was held on the occasion on the Parbatipur UP premises with the convener of the Aborigine Affairs Parliamentary Kokas Fazley Hossain Badsha MP in the chair. It was addressed among others, by law maker of Sherpur-3 constituency AKM Fazlul Hoque, law maker of Panchagar-1 constituency Nazmul Hoque Prodhan, law maker of Thakurgaon-3 constituency Yasin Ali, Hajera Sultana MP, president of Jatyo Adibasi Parishad Rabindranath Saren, director of Manusher Janya Foundation Rina Roy, vice chairman of Nachole upazila parishad Protima Rani Razoar and other aborigine leaders. The speakers said, criminals and terrorists have no political identity and whoever the criminal may be, he won’t be left unpunished. They added that all these things would be raised in the parliament and punishment to the criminals would be demanded.
Scout committee formed in Monirampur

The tri yearly council of Bangladesh Scout Monirampur Upazila branch was held at the conference room of Upazila Parishad on Saturday. Hundreds of teachers from different high, primary school and madrasha attended at the council. Presided over by UNO and President of Scout Sharif Nazrul Islam, Divisional scout’s assistant director Iqbal Kobir, Upazila Education officer Robiul Islam, Primary Education officer Abdur Rob, Principal Abdur Razzaque, former vice president of scout Abdul Mozid spokes at the discussion meeting . Later, a 27- member working committee was formed by oral vote. Faraq Ahmad Liton has been elected secretary of the committee while among others principal Abdur Razzaque the vice president.
