Akti Bari Akti Khamar Bank bldg inaugurated

State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam inaugurated Akti Bari Akti Khamar Bank building in Rajshahi Charghat and Bagha upazila on Saturday. The minister also unveiled the implementation of 30 projects in Bagha Upazila.. Rajshahi D C Helal Mahmud attended as special guest. On the second day of the programme , the State Minister inaugurated a home-based farm project and savings bank building on Sunday. Preside over by UNO Ashraful Islam, Chief Guest said, at the Prime Minister’s own initiative implemented a house one farm project in 485 upazilas of the Contry. Generally, employment posts are being created for everyone with free and fair interest. In the meantime, Sharmin Sultana, daughter of Ferdousi Begum of Kumra Badal Samity, presented the symbol of Awami League to the state Minister. Upazila Awami League President Anwar Hossain, General Secretary Fakrul Islam, Municipal AL President Sajjad Hossain, General Secretary Ekramul Haque, 6 union chairmen, Jubo League, CL president, Secretary, political leaders and workers were present.
Rest House inaugurated in Gafargaon

Local law maker Fahmi Golandaz Babel and Police Super Syeed Nurul Islam BPM, PPM of Mymensingh inaugurated the Rest-House of Gafargaon Thana at Gafargaon under Mymensingh on Friday evening. Gafargaon Thana Police built this Rest-House .Later, the guests visited the new place for new building of Gafargaon Thana. During that hours Additional Police Super Raihanul Islam of Gafargaon Circle , Upazila Parishad Chairman Asraf Uddin Badal, AK.M.Mahbubul Alam OC of Gafargaon Thana , Chan Mea OC of Pagla Thana, Tariquzzaman OC (Investigation) of Gafargaon Thana , Deputy – inspector Sumon Mea , Saiful Islam including other officials were present at the inauguration programme .
Ashura observed in Saidpur

The holy Ashura was observed here recently . The formalities of the day started with the arrival of New Moon and continued during the whole month especially four days like 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th. Because of more than 64 Imambaras, Saidpur is converted into the city of Tazia. Tazia is built at every Imambara of the Town separately.
