32 pieces Indian saree recovered, one held

One person was arrested in Saidpur with 32 pieces of Indian saree worth about Tk 64 thousand on Tuesday night from the south side of Saidpur Railway Station by Saidpur Railway Police. Wahedul Islam, 33, was arrested on charges of carrying the sari at that time. The value of the rescued saree is known to be around Tk. 64 thousand. GRP sources said that on the same day, Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Shanti Kumar Roy saw a bale wrapped with a plastic bag in the right hand of one person on the south-east side of the railway station’s 1st platform. He would like to know what is in the bale to the person at the time. But he could not give him a satisfactory reply. So the suspicion of the police force of the GRP becomes stronger. In this situation, after searching the bale, 32 pieces of Indian sarees of different colors are recovered. Later, in connection with the police questioning, he admitted that he was bringing the Indian sari and selling it to the market of Saidpur and Nilphamari for a long time. OC of Saidpur Railway Police Station AKM Lutfar Rahman confirmed the matter.
Man electrocuted in Gafargaon

A man named Sharful Islam (55) died in electrocution at Gafargaon Upazila under Mymensingh district on Saturday afternoon. The deceased was identified as Sharful Islam (55) at Longair village under Pagla Thana of this Upazila. Deceased family sources that Sharful Islam went to switch on water tank after finishing the work of mason of his own building. He was critically injured to switch on the water tank. Later, his relatives sent him to Gafargaon Upazila Health Complex at 5-30pm. But the doctor on duty declared him dead.
Agri inputs distributed at Gafargaon
Various agricultural ingredients like fertilizer seeds and have been distributed among 32 farmers to produce various types of vegetables in the yard of the house on Thursday noon at Gafargaon under Mymensingh. Upazila Agriculture Officer S.S.Farhana Hossain informed under the project National Agriculture Technology Program (NATP) Keroman Fad , fertilizer, cucumber and brinjal shapling are distributed to produce threshing -floor and quick composed fertilizer,herbaceous plant, oil-cake,unbleached and safe vegetables, production . Seeds and fertilizer are distributed to produce raddish , conch-shell, stem of a plant, lady’s- finger in the yard for a year long.Besides mango-Rupali, and Chaina -3 lichi shapling are also distributed for orchard.
