One killed in buffalo attack in Pakundia

One man was killed by the attack of young buffalo horn at Masua Union under Katiadi Upazila on Saturday (02 September). He was identified by Liton Mia (26) Son of Piar Hossain of village Maratola under Pakundia upazila in Kishoreganj District. While Lition Mia working in the road suddenly an young buffalo attacked him and he was serious injured. He was admitted Katiadi Upazila Health Complex and he died. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Nazrul Islam and Officer In-charge Zakir Rabbani confirmed this.
Road accident kills one, injures 15 in Jessore

Raju, 20 of Shimulia village under Jhikargachha upazila in Jessore district was killed and at least 15 others injured in a road accident at Beneali on Jessore- Benapole Highway under Jhikargachha upazila recently. Abu Saleh Md Masud Karim, officer in-charge, Jhikargachha police station told that the accident took place as the passengers’ bus hit a roadside tree after the driver of the Satkhira bound bus lost his control over the steering killing the youth on the spot and wounding others. ‘The killed and the wounded are passengers of the bus,’ the OC added.
Offices resume after Eid holiday in Rajshahi
RAJSHAHI: All the government, semi-government and private offices, including banks and financial institutions, resumed today after a three-day Eid vacation. Attendance in the different government offices and private farms was thin as many officials and employees were taking a day-off today as well. Sources concerned said the offices will take their usual look from Sunday next, after the weekend. However, some people were seen rushing to their respective offices to dispose of their pending urgent works on the opening day. Meanwhile, a festive mood is prevailing at most of the offices. Officials and staffs were seen exchanging Eid greetings and embracing their colleagues. The holiday-seekers, who went to their villages to celebrate the Eid with their relatives, have already started to return to their working places. City streets still remain free from the usual chaotic snarl-up, reports BSS.
Eid-ul-Azha celebrated in Narsingdi

The holy Eid-ul-Azha was celebrated in Narsingdi district on Saturday with due religious fervor and festivity. The main Eid congregation was hold at the callectorate Edgah abjaent to the local DC office under the auspices of the district administration. Khatib of Collectorate Mosque Mowlana Nasir Uddin lead the jamaat. Leaders of political parties, elite of the town professional joined the congregation. The other Eid congregations were also held at Datta para Eidgah, Chinishpur Eidgah, Narsingdi Government Collage Eidgah, Police Line Eidgah Ground, Jamea Kashemia Madrasha Eidgah ground, Ranggamaty Eidgh, Shatirpara Eidgh, Baluakandi Madrash Eidgah, Kawarapara Poura Eidgah Ground, Banichal Sapnar Eidgah, Vhalanogar Eidgah, Shaprotab Eidgah Chowalla Eidgah, Birpur Eidgah and Novabbari Poura Eidgah. Thousands of Muslims offered specal munajat seeking divine blessings and peace of the departed soul and continued peace progress and prosperity of the country and Muslim Ummah. They also visited to relatives, Friends and neighbors exchange greeting amibst festive mood. Deputy commissioner Dr. Shovash Chondor Bhiyshash paid exchange greeting to Government officials elite of the town and other at Cirkit House and local, House, He also exchange greeting to the orphan and disadvantage children.
