GCC budget announced

A budget for 20014-15 fiscal year of Gazipur City Corporation was announced at 11am on Monday . A discussion meeting in this connection was held at GCC auditorium presided over by councilor Sabder Hossain. Chief excutive officer Soltan mamud discussed on budget shortly. Lettar, Mayor Prof.M.A Mannan annunced the budget . He discussed on budget of 2014-15 and a souvenir on budget was distributed among the participants at meeting. Replying some questions of journalist, he told the audience that Staff including him is trying to do well for the people and city corporation.
Road mishap kills bank official in Jessore

An official of Bangladesh Krishi Bank was killed in road mishap at Hatbila under Kotwali police station on the Jessore- Khulna Highway on Tuesday morning. 10 others were hurt in the incident, said hospital sources. The accident took place at Hatbila while three-wheeler turned turtle at the area at around 10am. The dead was identified as Abdul Gaffar, 54, official, Krishi Bank, of Rupdia branch, Jessore and also inhabitant of Shakharigati village under Jessore Sadar upazila.
