Becoming president forced Donald Trump to resign from a slew of corporate positions, but it also appears to have netted him much more income from his Mar-a-Lago resort and from book sales.
According to a financial disclosure form released late Friday, Trump earned around $37 million this year from the Florida resort-a seven million dollar increase from last year.
IS claims fatal stabbing of Israeli policewoman

Heavy rains kill 14 in Niger, 11 in Ivory Coast

At least 14 people, mostly children, have died in Niger and 11 in Ivory Coast after heavy rains this week triggered landslides and caused homes to collapse, UN and local officials said Friday.
The UN’s humanitarian affairs office OCHA said 14 people had died when houses collapsed in Niger’s capital Niamey with another four missing. Nine children were reported dead there earlier this week.
2 Malaysian air force pilots killed in jet crash

Malaysia found two air force officers dead in a northeastern forest on Thursday after their fighter jet went missing during a training exercise, the chief of the country’s air force told reporters.

New Lesotho PM’s wife shot dead

The wife of Lesotho Prime Minister Tom Thabane was shot dead late on Wednesday, just hours after her husband’s inauguration, raising fears of another wave of political violence in the southern African mountain kingdom.
Police spokesperson Clifford Molefe said Lipolelo Thabane, 58, was travelling home with a friend when both women where shot by an unknown assailant in the town of Masana, just outside the capital, Maseru.
