Genocide in Gaza protested in C’nawabganj

 People of Chapainawabganj protested the barbaric attack and genocide on Palestinians at Gaza by Israil on Monday. A procession led by the mayor of Chapainawabganj municipality Maolana Abdul Matin was taken out in Chapainawabganj town from the municipality park. After parading the main roads of the town the procession ended at the deputy commissioner’s office premises. A protest rally was also held there. Among others, mayor Maolana Abdul Matin, councilor of the municipality Abdul Barek, Imam Maolana Abdul Basir, journalist Imran Faruk Masum, JSD leaders Rafiqul Islam and Moniruzzaman Monir and Workers Party leader Kamal Uddin spoke in the rally. The speakers criticised the attack and barbarism on innocent people. They asked Israil to stop attack and genocide.
Two killed in road accident in Nalchity
Nalchity(Jhalakati) Correspondent
Atleast two persons killed and one severely injured after a passenger bus hit their carrier motorcycle near zero-point in Timirkathi area of Nalcity police station under Jhalakathi district at 1:40 on Sunday after crossing Shaheed Abdur Rob Serniabad Bridge (Dapdapia Bridge). Following the accident local people rushed to the spot making the bus vacant from passengers turned that upside down at the roadside ditch to recover the dead and injured passengers from its bottom. However unidentified one person believed to be driver of the motorcycle, killed at the spot.
Kurrom Khan Chy condoles death of L K Siddique

Freedom fighter and former MP Md Kurrom Khan Chowdhury condoled the death of former Minister and BNP Vice chairman Engr.LK Siddique . He expressed his deep shock at the death of LK Siddique . In a statement he recalled the contribution of Lk Siddique to different democratic movements of the country. He prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved members of the family. Mentionable that LK Siddique inaguarated the power sub -station of Nandail when he was a Power and Energy Minister.
Motor cyclists killed in Nandail road mishap
Motor cyclists Md. Abu Siddik (65) and his grand-son Abu Raiyhan (5) was killed in a road mishap near Kanurampur on Mymensingh-Kishoreganj Highway in Nandail. A Kishoreganj -bound e bus lost his control and fell on them. Abu Raiyhan died on the spot and Abu Siddik died on the way of Mymensingh Medical Collage Hospital. They are in habitant of Dorilla Village under Rajgathi Union in Nandail , Mymensingh. Md. Harun Or Rashid officer -in-charge (Investigation) said Abu Siddik and his grand -son were going to relatives’ house in Ishwarganj. But he stood in front of Krishi Bank for bringing a glass of water by this time Kishoreganj- bound bus fell on them lost out of control. People captured the bus but the driver managed to flee away.
