30 hurt in land dispute in Sylhet

Some 30 were injured in a violent land dispute between two Groups in Doloirgawn under Companigong upazila in Sylhet on Saturday. One held with 445 bottles of phensidyl in Chuadanga

CHUADANGA: The member of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive arrested a man with 445 bottles of contraband phensidyl from Uthali village under Jibannagar upazila of the district yesterday. The arrested was Kofiluddin, 50, a resident of the village. nA team of the elite force led by Major Monir Ahamed conducted a raid in the area and nabbed Kofiluddin from his residence. The RAB members also recovered the contraband drugs during the drive. The arrested person and the recovered items were handed over to Jibannagar Thana Police. A case was filled in this connection with concerned police station, reports BSS.

RCC launches digital attendance system

RAJSHAHI: Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) has launched digital attendance system to make attendance of its officers and employees in office properly and timely.
