Chinese navy ships to be deployed at Pak Port

China would deploy its naval ships along with Pakistan navy to safeguard the strategic Gwadar port and trade routes under the $46 billion China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, a Pakistani official in Karachi has said.
China and Pakistan are currently building the nearly 3,000-km-long economic corridor linking Pakistan’s Gwadar port on the Arabian Sea with Xinjiang to improve connectivity between the two countries.

Norway’s SC refuses to grant Snowden safe travel

Norway’s Supreme Court has rejected Edward Snowden’s request for a legal guarantee that would allow him to collect an award in the Scandinavian country without risk of being extradited to the United States.
In its ruling Friday, the Supreme Court upheld decisions by lower courts that also refused the request.
