One held with 38 bottles of liquor in Sherpur

Police arrested a man along with 38 bottles of liquor from Nakugaon area in Nalitabari upazila on Monday evening. The arrestee was identified as Jamal Uddin, 35, son of Entaj Ali, a resident of the area. Nazrul Islam, sub-inspector of Nalitabari Police Station, said on secret information a team of police conducted drive at his house in area around 6pm and arrested him. Later they recovered liquors from his room. A case was filed against Jamal in this connection.
BEPZA inaugurates family planning service to workers

Bangladesh export processing zone authority (BEPZA) has launched family planning (FP) service in Uttora export processing zone (EPZ) at sholgolshi in Nilphamari district paving way for the workers of different factories to get FP materials and counseling on maternal and child health in free. This initiative of BEPZA is the first time among all the 8 export-processing zones (EPZ) in the country as it is long demand of the workers to set up such center. Mujibur Rahman, ADC (Rev) on behalf of the Deputy Commissioner, Nilphamari inaugurated the service in the medical center of Uttara EPZ in a ceremony in the conference room of Uttara EPZ at 11.00 am of on Monday which was attended by the workers’ representatives, officials of different factories and Uttora EPZ officials.
Kidnapped girl’s body recovered

Sultana Begum (10), a class four student of Chotofund Govt. Primary School was recovered by Kanaighat Upazila Police on Friday evening. It has been learnt from locals and Kanaighat Upazila Police that the said Sultana used to go to Aralight Mosque of the identical village she went there on Monday morning and after break-up of mosque’s prayer and Quaran teaching she was kidnapped by Abul Ahmed , Hussain Ahmed of Borokhror village and Mustaq Ahmed of Narainpur village from the north side of Imam Uddin’s house. She was missing for three days. On Wednesday Sultana’s elder brother Eklim Uddin together with UP member Mojir Uddin went to Imam Uddin’s house and found all under lock and key. On Thursday evening Kanighat UZ Police led by Officer-in-charge Md. Humayun Kabir recovered the dead body from a hillock nearby Imam Uddin’s hillock house. Police arrested Abul Ahmed (25), Robel (25) and Sadeq Hussain (25), lodged a case and sent the dead body to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College.
Daring dacoity committed
A docoity committed in the village of Biswanath Upazilla in Sylhet District on Friday night. At friday night the incident occur in the house of Khalilur Rahman, Vill : west shashram. The dacoit looted Tk 8 lakh with ornament said the victim family. Mr. Khalilur Rahman told that on Friday at about 3 P.M. 15/16 person wearing half pant breaking collapsible gate and door of the house and entered it. They make hostage to the family members and beaten Afzal Hussain (19), Son of Khalku Mia. They looted 11 vori gold, cash 2 lakh, 38 thousand and 6 mobile set. O.C Biswanath Monirul Islam P.P.M told they didn’t received any information.
