BGB detains woman with Yaba

Border Guard Bangladesh personnel on Wednesday arrested a woman and seized some 800 pieces of yaba from her residence at Dighirpar under Benapole port police station, said Major Liakat Ali, Acting Commanding Officer, 26 Border Guard Battalion. BGB said raiding the residence of Rekha Khatun, 30 wife of Asadul Islam of Dighirpar village BGB personnel recovered the yaba pills and detained the woman in this connection. She was handed over to beanpole port police after filing a case.
Two motor cyclists killed in Sylhet road crash

Two motor cyclist were killed in a road accident at satmile area on Sylhet-Dhaka road in the Sylhet district on Wednesday. The deceased were identified as Abdus Shahid, 32, son of Babul Mia, Doshhal village and Unus Ali, 27, son of Makbul Ali, Bagerkhola village in Lalabazar under Dakshin Surma Upazilla in Sylhet district. Officer-in-charge of Dakshin Surma Police Station S.M Ataur Rahman said the accident took place as a Sylhet-bound Hanif Bus hit the motor cycle in the area around 1:10pm.
BNP leader main accused in Sylhet clash
A case filed by Biswanath police over the clash between locals of two upazilas on the Sylhet-Sunamganj highway in Sylhet on monday morning following a beating of a local businessman. Police have been accused the past chaiman candidates of Sadar Upazila Parishad elections, the BNP leader Nurul Huda Shah Jamal . On Monday night SI of Biswnath Police station Habibur Rahman filed the case against the accused . The case was filed including 51 identified names and more than 400/500 anonymous accused. Case no.( 17 ( 09 ) 16) .
Welding worker electrocuted in Gaffargoan
Gaffargoan (Mymensingh) Correspondent
 A worker of welding workshop was electrocuted at Shilashi village under Gaffargoan upazila recently. The deceased was identified as Sujon Mia (23) son of Altaf Mia, a resident of Shilashi village of the upazila. Locals said Sujon Mia came in contact with a live electric wire while he was working in the welding workshop in Gaffargoan Bazar area. Later, he was rushed to the upazila Health Complex where doctors declared him dead.
FFs of Rampal visit the mausoleum of Bangabandhu

A visit the mausoleum of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was arranged by the Muktijoddha Command of Rampal on Monday. MP of Rampal-Mongla Constituency , Ex-KCC Mayor Alhaj Talukder Abdul Khaleq organised the programme and the freedom fighters of the upazila went to the mausoleum of Bangabandhu . Some 196 freedom fighters ,their wife ,their grand sons and daughters participated the tour . Reaching there , they jointly offered Fateha for the departed soul of the Father of the Nation . At this time , MP along with the freedom fighters prayed to the Almighty for the peace and prosperity of the country and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina . Muktijoddha Commander of Rampal Command Sk. Mojaffar Hossain , Secretary Kalipado Adhikary were also present with them.
