DConer of Narsingdi Abu Hena Morshed Zman inaugurated the newly constructed two storied building of Hajrat Kabul Shah Narsingdi Collector at a Public School building at Kabul Shah Majar premises in the town on Wednesday. Deputy Director, Local Government Division (DS) and president of the Hajrat Kabul Saha Narsingdi Collectorate Public school committee Mohammad Kamal Hossain presided over the function. He also presented the welcome speech. The inaugural function was addressed among others by Police Super Narsingdi Amena Begum BPM, Rector Of Biam Zilla School Dr Prof Dil Afroj Begum, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ICT) Jasim Uddin Haider, Chairman of Narsingdi Sadar Upazila Parishad Monzur Elahi, Former Principal Narsingdi Government college Mohammad Ali , District Education Officer Manwar Hossain, Chairman of Shilmandi union Parishad Abdul Baker, President Narsingdi Press club Morshed Shahariar, Vice president of Chamber of Commerce Tazul Islam, President of the Majar Sharip committee Omar pradan, Kabul Shah School Student Habiba Akter Sony and Land doner Mahabub Alam.
Motorcyclist killed in road mishap at Phulbari

A young motorcyclist was killed in a road accident at Bazidpur More in Phulbari-Dinajpur high way in Parbotipur upazila in Dinajpur district on Thursday morning. The deceased was identified as Sumon Chandra Roy, 25, son of Dhiru Chandra Roy village Rajapukur in Dinajpur sadar upazila. Locals said that, Sumon Roy was going to his work place in Phulbari from his house Dinajpur in his motorcycle. Suddenly a carring trucktor Traly collided head on his bike at about 10.30am at the place leaving him dead on the spot. The driver and helper managed to escape after the incident. Inspector (investigation) of Phulbari thana Abdur Rahman conformed the incident.
One arrested with illegal arms

One person was arrested with illegal arms at Chargaht Upazila on Sunday evening. Police identified the person as Mizanur Rahman (40) is live in Mirgong village in Bagha upazila and son of Abdus Samad. OC Nibaron Chondhro Bormon said that two magazines, bullets and one nokia mobile phone were also recovered from the man. SI Khairul Islam informer that our police team after a raid arrested the criminal in front of Charghat Thana Health Complex in red handed. In this regard four cases are filed in Bagha thana and a arms case filed in Charghat thana on Monday .
Man found dead in Comilla
COMILLA: A trader was found dead near Tikkarchar Bridge in the city on Thursday morning. Salauddin, sub-inspector of Kotwali Model Police Station, said being informed by locals, police recovered the body of Harun Mia, 35, a scrap trader and son of Sultan Mia of Burichang upazila, in the morning.Later police sent the body to Comilla Medical College Hospital morgue, reports UNB.
