Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has inaugurated the newly constructed office of Chattogram District Superintendent of Police.He inaugurated the newly constructed building at Solasahar Gate No. 2 of the city around 11:30 am yesterday as chief guest.
MP Engineer Mosharraf Hossain, MP ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury, MP Moslem Uddin Ahmed, MP Mostafizur Rahman Chowdhury, MP Dr. Abu Reza Nadvi, Mayor of Chittagong City Corporation Rezaul Karim Chowdhury, DIG of Chittagong Range Anwar Hossain, CMP Commissioner Saleh Mohammad Tanvir, District Superintendent of Police SM Rashidul Haque and others were present on the occasion.
Incidentally, the construction of a new building under Public Works Division-2 started in 2017 as the office of District Superintendent of Police was old and dilapidated . . Police activities were carried out at Chhotapul District Police Lines in Halishahar for a temporary period. From now on, the activities of the district police are starting again with the inauguration of the new building at the solasahar gate number 2 of the city.
