A newly born baby aged about 14 days was stolen by some unknown miscreants as alleged .
The baby was stolen on Wednesday afternoon from the bed and the child was not found after searching in the hospital police sources said. The mother of the baby Jesmin Akhter turns demoralized and mentally week following the loss of her baby.
Hospital police camp sources said they were informed the lifting matter of child from 34 Gynae ward about 3 pm. Later hospital police informed the matter to Panchalaish thana police and as soon as the information to thana police, two mobile unit of police stormed in the hospital and closed the main three gates for searching the stolen child but could not traced any where.
Hospital police sources said the baby was born on July 2 last. Shafiul Alam and Jesmina /akhter are the father and mother.
A written allegation sbout the lifting of child was given to concerned police station sources said.
