Prof Dr MM Shahidul Hassan has been re-appointed as Vice-Chancellor of East West University (EWU). At the same time, Prof Dr. Muhammad Z Mamun, former Director of the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Dhaka University, has joined as the new Pro- Vice Chancellor of EWU.
The Chancellor of the University, President Abdul Hamid approved these appointments. Both of them graduated from the BUET and completed their PhD degree from abroad. Prof Dr Hassan has been teaching for more than four decades and Prof Dr Mamun has been teaching for more than 3 decades. With their appointment, EWU has completed the appointment of all the three positions of Vice-Chancellor, Pro- Vice Chancellor and Treasurer by the President Abdul Hamid.
