In the beginning of New Year, noted play director Habib Shakil has started to make a new drama serial titled Porer Meye. Kazi Riton is producer of the serial while Syed Ziauddin wrote its story. Ekushey Award winner noted actress Dilara Zaman, National Film Award winner actress Elora Gohor, popular actors Intekhab Dinar and Prova are acting in important roles in the serial. Dinar is playing the role of Dilara Zaman’s song and Prova is acting in role of his wife while Elora Gohor is acting the role of Prova’s mother in the serial. Shooting of the serial is going on at a residence in the capital’s Uttara area.
While talking about acting in the serial Dilara Zaman said, “It is a family story. Various issues of a family portrays in the story of the serial. Director is trying to make the serial cordially. After a long time, I am really enjoying to work in a family story based serial.”
Elora Gohor said, “Due to my illness I was absent from acting. But doctor suggested me to continue acting if I remain well. For this reason, I am acting in the serial. I am acting in role of an innocent but very emotional mother in the serial. It is no doubt Habib Shakil is a talented director so, I am enjoying acting under his direction.”
“It was my first work under Habib Shakil’s direction. Story is nice. So, I am enjoying a lot working in the serial. I always prefer to act in story based work. Its story is like that. My co-actors are also my favourite. I am very much optimistic about the serial,” Intekhab Dinar said.
Prova shared her feelings by this way, “Earlier I acted under Habib Shakil’s direction in four faction plays. He makes play or serial very cordially. My role in this serial is very challenging, so I have concentrated a lot while working in the serial. After a long time, I got the opportunity to act in a family story based serial. For this reason, I am enjoying a lot. I believe viewers will enjoy the serial.”
Director Habib Shakil informed that the serial will go on air on NTV from January 13.
