A new Trust Fund titled “Professor Dr M Moinul Islam Trust Fund” has been established at the Department of Management of Dhaka University (DU).
Dr M Moinul Islam, former Professor of DU Management Department, handed over a cheque for Taka 10 lakh to DU Treasurer Prof Dr Md Kamal Uddin at a function on Monday at the Vice-Chancellor’s office to set up the trust fund, said a DU press release.
VC Prof M Akhtaruzzaman, Acting Registrar Md Enamuzzaman and Dean of Business faculty Prof Shibli Rubayat-Ul Islam, Chairman of Management Department Prof Md Ali Akkas were present, among other, on the occasion. Out of the income of this donation, every year one meritorious student will get gold medal for securing highest CGPA in BBA of Management Department, the release said.
Prof Akhtaruzzaman thanked the donor for setting up the trust fund at DU and hoped that the students would be highly benefited and encouraged from this donation, it added.
