A new trust fund titled “Professor Dr M Delwar Hossain Trust Fund” has been set up at Dhaka University (DU) yesterday.

Uddin to set up the Trust Fund. Vice Chancellor Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique, Medicine Faculty Dean Prof M Ismail Khan were present at the cheque hand over function.
Out of the income of the fund, every year a male and female poor but meritorious student of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) will be awarded scholarship.
Prof Arefin thanked Prof Dr Delwar Hossain for setting up the Trust Fund and hoped that Delwar Hossain will also donate in different sectors in future.
