Staff Reporter :Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith on Wednesday said the new pay scale for the government employees would be effective from July next year.The finance minister came up with the disclosure while talking to journalists at his Secretariat office Tuesday afternoon.The government earlier formed a 17-member Pay- Commission headed by former Bangladesh Bank Governor Mohammad Farashuddin to review salaries of public servants.Muhith said, the new pay scale would be implemented in line with report of the Commission to be submitted within December 15, 2014.He said the Secretary Committee would approve the report of the commission examining it.It would be implemented after the approval by the Cabinet.
