Newly appointed Norwegian Ambassador Sidsel Blieken has said she would work to further strengthen the good relations between the two countries through promoting shared goal of creating peaceful and inclusive societies based on equal rights for all.
“The relationship between Norway and Bangladesh has always been one of friendships and strong bonds, and I want to deepen that during my stay in Bangladesh through our engagements in diplomacy, trade and development,” said a media release of Royal Norwegian Embassy in Dhaka on Monday quoting Blieken as saying.
Before joining the Dhaka mission, Blieken served as a director to Norwegian ministry of foreign affairs and was the counsellor at the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Warsaw.
