Staff Reporter :Miscreants assaulted the Chief Photographer of The New Nation Sharif Khan in the city’s Tejgaon area on Saturday night.He took primary treatment at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH).Sharif Khan said, “A gang of five miscreants intercepted me in front of Bangladesh Textile University near Saatrasta Intersection at 11:00pm while I was returning from Gulshan by a motorcycle after covering an official assignment.” “At one stage, the miscreants beat and injured me in the legs, head and hands. A patrol team of police rescued and sent me to hospital for treatment,” he said.A general diary (GD) was filed with Tejgaon Police Station in this connection.
