Md. Abdus Sattar, father of Mohammad Younus Ali, district Correspondent of The Daily New Nation, died at Shibalaya Upazila Health Complex on Friday while undergoing treatment. He was 70.
Abdus Sattar is survived by his wife, four sons, a daughter and many grand children. People of different professions including the leaders of Manikganj District Journalists Association, Shibalaya Upazila Journalists Association and Upazila Press Club mourned his death.
His body was buried at the family graveyard after Janaza at his home in Nihand village after Asr prayer that day.
