Bangladesh Chhatra Union (BCU) of Jahangirnagar University (JU) unit announced its 31-member new executive body for the next year.
Najir Amin Chowdhury Joy of Fine Arts and Ariful Islam Anik of Bangla Department were made president and general secretary respectively.
The new committee of BCU was announced yesterday night in its 28th annual council held at TSC on the campus.
The other members of the committee are Vice Presidents are Oliur Rahman Sun, Soumitra Saha Partho, Naymul Alam Misu, Soyebur Rahman, Mir Rumman Wali and Kabery Sultana Jotee. Assistant Secretaries are Shouvik Bhattacharjee Ovi, Habib Bin Mahmud and Sultan Jahan Moon.
Treasurer Sushanta Paul, Office Secretary Hasan Jamil, Education and Research secretary Ataul Haque Chowdhury, School Students Secretary Tasnuva Tazin Eva, Science and Technology and International Organisation Secretary Jubaer Kamal, Publicity and Publication Secretary Tasbibul Gany Niloy, Cultural Secretary Tushar Dhar, Sports Secretary Soumic Mahmud Ayoun and Social Welfare and Environmental Secretary Nusrat Tuba.
General Executive members are Imran Nadim, Shadat Hossain Sadhin, Salman Mahfuz, Rakibul Haque Roni, Mikha Piregu, Refat Khan Anik, Arrannok Prithibi, Shariar Ashraf Ontu, Khan Mukarrab Fahim and Abu Nayeem Torun.
