Engr. Md. Mahfujur Rahman joined in Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB) as a Director General on June 21, 2017. Prior to this post he was an Additional Director General (West Region) in BWDB.
He obtained his graduation in Civil Engineering from BUET in the year 1982 & MS in Civil Engineering (Hydrolic) in 1989 from IHE Delft Netherlands . He joined in BWDB as an Assistant Engineer (Civil) in 1983. He attended different meeting, seminar and training in Canada, Netherlands, Japan, Indonesia, China, Vietnam, Thailand and India.
He was born in a Muslim family in Comilla district.
