The newly elected President and General secretary of Chittagong city unit of BNP Dr.Shahdat Hossain and Abul Hashem Bakkar were greeted by the leaders, workers of the party at Nasimon Bhaban party office in city on Monday evening. Out of the 3-members new committee, senior vice president Abu Sufian did not attend the reception meeting. Conscious circle sources said following the declaration of new 3-members committee, a part of the party became inactive.Eye witness sources said the supporters of Noman, Khasru, Sufian not traced in the reception function. The leaders, activists presented flower bouquets to the newly electied president, secretary, sources said.
