A new committee of Zonta Club of Greater Dhaka was announced recently at a function held at a residence in the city’s Bashundhara Residential Area. This committee will perform its duty from 2018 to 2020.
Former governor of Zonta District 25 Fahmida Karim handed over the responsibilities to the new committee. Around 20 new members including popular TV personality and producer of Channel i Punam Priyam, partner of Divine Beauty Lounge Sangeeta Khan, among others have been attached with this new committee. With their including now Zonta Club’s members turned into 42. Tootli Rahman took the charge of the new committee. Second Vice President of the Club Samia Ahmed has been engaged with UNICEF. Sonya Panni has been selected its secretary. n
