Khagrachhari Correspondent :
A new executive committee of Khagrachhari Union of Journalists (KUJ) for the year 2015 was formed on Wednesday morning.
In this connection, a general meeting and an election were held on the KUJ office premises in the district town.
District correspondent of SA TV Nurul Azam was elected president and District correspondent of Machhranga TV Kanan Acharya general secretary.
The other elected persons of the 14-member executive committee are- Prodip Chowdhury of Dainik Shomokal (Vice-president), Mongsapro Marma of Desh TV (Assistant secretary), Ripon Sarker of Jaijaidin (Organising Secretary), Rafiqul Islam of Amader Samoy (Treasurer), Rupayon Chakma of Ekattor TV (Literature Secretary), and Biplop Talukder of Dainik Jugajug (Office Secretary).
Elected executive members are: Saikot Dewan of Dainik Prothom Alo, Dulal Hossain of The Daily Observer, Shonkor Chowdhury of Dainik Vorer Pata, Al Mamun of Dainik Ajkaler Khobor, Liton Kumar Bhattacharya Rana of Dainik Nutundin, and Nurussafa Manik of Asian TV.
