The new Executive Committee of the Bangladesh Automobiles Assemblers & Manufacturers Association (BAAMA) was formed at its corporate office in the city on Saturday.
Matlub Ahmed, Taskeen Ahmed and Mohammad Ali Deen were elected President, Vice President and General Secretary of the BAAMA respectively, said a press release.
As per constitution of the organization, the tenure of the newly formed executive committee will be next two years.
The BAMMA, a platform of the manufacturers of motorbikes and accessories, is working for enhancing the capacity of the local entrepreneurs so that they can go for full manufacturing.
It is also working aiming at serving the people through protecting the interest of all stakeholders as well as co-operating the government at policy advocacy, the press release said.
