UNB, Dhaka :Newly appointed Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha will take oath of office today (Saturday).President Abdul Hamid will administer the oath to the new Chief Justice at a simple ceremony at Darbar Hall of the Bangabhaban, the presidential palace, at 11am.On January 12, the President in exercise of his power under Article 95 (1) of the Constitution appointed Justice Sinha, the senior-most judge of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court, as the country’ s 21st Chief Justice.Justice Sinha succeeds Justice M Muzammel Hossain as he went on regular retirement at the age of 67 on Friday.
