New BPSC syllabus for 35th BCS written exams

Staff Reporter :Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) published the new syllabus for the written examinations of 35th BCS on Tuesday on its own website. The written examinations will be held on Bengali, English, International Affairs, Mathematical Logic, Mental Skilled and General Science and Technology. Besides, the participants have to learn 84 subjects for their respective positions. The preliminary test of the 35th BCS (Bangladesh Civil Service) was held in the seven divisional cities in the country simultaneously on last Friday afternoon.A record number of 244,107 applicants – the highest ever in the BPSC’s history – have registered their names for 1,803 posts.A total of 135 applicants sat for the test against each post.Of the applicants, 55,244 applied for the test in Dhaka division, 21,873 in Rajshahi, 20,469 in Chittagong, 14,078 in Khulna, 16,856 in Rangpur, 9,858 in Sylhet and 5,729 applicants registered for the test in Barisal division.
