Biennial general meeting of the Chittagong Newspapers Computers Association was held at its city office premises on Monday with its president Md. Rafiqul Islam in the chair. General secretary Kaiesh Chowdhury conducted the meeting. Among others former president Rafibul Hoque,ex- general Secretary Chowdhury Hasan Kurram, Members Ashgar Ali sohel, Apu Barua, Swapan Paul, Sethu Barua, Khorshed Alam, Prabir Nath, Md. Nurul Amin spoke on the occasion.
Finance Secretary Sajal Hore presented the annual report of the association before the meeting in the general meeting, a 15-members executive committee of the association for next two years was elected consensually with opinions of the general members. The new committee headed by Harunur Rashid as President and Rtan Biswas as General Secretary.
Other members of the new committee are- Senior Vice President Chowdhury Ahsan Kurram, Vice President Sagar Barua, Joint Secretary Prakash Paul, Treasurer Sajal Hore, Organizing Secretary Mukul Sikdar, Publicity Secretary Ruman Bhattachariya, Sports Secy Younus Mehedi, Office -Secretary Sanjay Paul, Recreation Secretary Kanak Basak, EC members Rakibul Hoque, Rafiqul Islam, Kayeshchowdhury, and Kanchan Sen,a sources of the association said.
