Ambassador designate of Bangladesh to Lebanon Abdul Motaleb Sarker made a courtesy call on President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban on Wednesday. During the meeting, the President asked the ambassador to work for boosting Bangladesh’s trade relations with Lebanon, President’s press secretary Joynal Abedin told BSS.
The President suggested the ambassador to take initiatives for increasing export of medicine and skilled manpower from Bangladesh to Lebanon. The new ambassador sought necessary directions of the President in discharging his duties.
