The Netherlands Ambassador here Harry Verweij Sunday said his country is trying to make a link between Dutch and Bangladeshi businessmen as Amsterdam sees huge opportunity to expand trade relations with Dhaka.
“We try to link up Bangladesh and Dutch businesses. We see many opportunities. We see a room to expand our bilateral trade relationship,” he told reporters at a meeting in the city.
Diplomatic Correspondents Association, Bangladesh (DCAB) arranged the event titled “DCAB Talk” at Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies (BIISS).
The envoy put emphasis on branding Bangladesh properly for further expansion of the country’s trade abroad.
