Cox’s Bazar: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-7 arrested a Neo JMB member in Ukhia upazila of Cox’s Bazar on early Sunday.
The arrested, Md. Sharful Awal, 30, hailed from Lalanagar Munshibari village of Rangunia police station in Chittagong.
Officer in-Charge (OC) of Ukhia Police Station Md Abul Khayer confirmed the matter.
Led by Major Md Ruhul Amin, a team of RAB-7 conducted a drive at Coatbazar Hazi Nazu Mia Market and arrested Sharful around 3:00am, according to RAB.
A laptop, six mobile phone sets, three SIMs, two pen-drives and a travel bag were recovered from his possession, it said.
