Nagao, Natural Environmental Foundation (NEF), a non-governmental organisation of Japan, on Thursday distributed stipend money among 10 Jahangirnagar University (JU) students.
JU Dean of Biological Science Faculty Professor Abdul Jabbar Haolader handed over the stipend money among the students at the counseling room of the university.
Professor of Environmental Science Department Dr Khabir Uddin and Acting Comptroller Mohsinul Kabir were present there among others.
NEF promote the natural conservation in the developing countries and they select 10 students for the scholarship at this university through a three member committee led by Professor Dr Khabir Uddin.
