Neelima honoured as best Youth Organiser

Neelima Akhter Chowdhury, Founder President of Agrajattra- a social development organisation of Chittagong has been awarded with the best Youth Organiser across the country. She became first position among the awardees youth organisers of 8 administrative divisions of the country.
Prime Minister of the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina handed over best youth organizer award to Neelima Akhter Chowdhury at a function arranged on the occasion of National Youth Day-2016 at Osmani Auditorium in Dhaka on Tuesday as chief guest.
The theme of the national youth day was ” Self-reliant youths, Youth force are basic ground for durable development” .
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina formally inaugurated the day in a befitting manner as arranged by the Ministry of Youth Development & Sports at Osmani auditorium on Tuesday as chief guest.
State Minister for Youth development & Sports Ministry Biren Sikder MP presided the function duly attended by Deputy Minister Md. Arif Khan Joy MP, Md. Jahid Ahsan Rasel MP as special guests.
Md. Anowarul Kabir, Secretary of the Ministry & Director General of Youth & Sports Directorate delivered address of welcome on the occasion.
Prime Minister in her brief deliberations emphasized the role of the youths to the cause of overall development of the country.
She said one third population of the country are youths, so we should utilize them in righ path for country’s uplift. Prime Minister urged the youth community to avoid the militancy, terrorism and drug addiction aimed at building their bright future as well as the country’s youth force.
Mentionable that on that auspicious day of national youths, 14 youths have been awarded with National Youth Award-2016 and 5(five) awarded with Best Youth Organiser out of the 8 divisions of the country. Among the best youth organizers, Neelima Akhter chowdhury of Agrajattra clinched first position, an organizational release said.
