Neel Hurerzahan is one of the leading anchors of television and stage shows of present time. Specially she is an outstanding anchor of sports related shows. Many persons mention her ‘a beautiful anchor’ of present generation. Neel got many appreciations from the viewers in different times. Besides anchoring, Neel was also seen to star in acting and also to perform as model in music videos. For the first time, she will be seen to perform as a model in a musical film. Before starting lockdown, she performed as model in Masud Hasan Ujjal directed a musical film titled Adha, which shooting was held in white stones and Ratargul swamp forest areas in Sylhet.
Neel informed that Masud Hasan Ujjal for the first time made a musical film. While talking about performing in the film Neel Hurerzahan said, “I was supposed to take necessary preparations to perform in the musical film Adha, which lyrics and tunes were composed by Omar Faruk Bishal. Sabbir Nasir rendered song, which music was arranged by Sajid Sarkar. Due to announcing lockdown, we had to go to Sylhet for completing its shooting within short time. As it was Ujjal Bhai’s first musical film so, he gave his level best effort to make the film nicely despite facing a lot of many barriers including environmental and climatic situations of Sylhet during the shooting. It is no doubt that Ujjal Bhai is a talented director. For this reason, I was hopeful that it has become a nice work and viewers will enjoy the film, which will be released on a YouTube channel before Eid-ul-Azha.”
Neel earlier performed as model in music videos of Natasha’s song Keno ashilena and lastly Imran-Puja’s duet song Tumi shudhu aamar. In television, Neel-starrer her first drama was Akkhor Theke Uthe Asha Manush, directed by Badrul Anam Soud, where she acted with Afzal Hossain and Suborna Mustafa. Later, she also acted under different directors’ direction. Neel has no plan to star in film. Meanwhile, Neel hosted News24’s It’s Amazing has already crossed 400 episodes. She is now anchoring Nishi Goongoon on BTV, Today’s Kitchen and Rupkothar Raat on NTV, Sign On on SA TV and regular sports related shows on GTV.
